The brief

Based in Newport, Scenery Hire work with both amateur and professional theatre groups hiring out scenery for musicals and pantomimes.

Scenery Hire approached NinetyFive Creative to explore the idea of Facebook after discovering that a good proportion of their existing and potential clients were active on the site. They were keen to incorporate Facebook into their existing marketing strategy, but they didn’t have the right expertise within the team to use the site to their best advantage.

The solution

We understand that Facebook can be very daunting for non-users so it was our aim to make things as easy as possible for Scenery Hire. We therefore introduced them to our Social Media Retainer which guarantees a certain amount of our time to spend on their Facebook page each month.

Using our social media know how, we had their page up and running in no time! But the hard work doesn’t end there – as well as updating the page with news and updates, our role includes identifying relevant Facebook users to build up a network of relevant fans.
In the short time that we’ve been working with Scenery Hire, we’ve started to interact with a number of clients, and due to the very nature of people sharing information, we’ve been able to secure greater exposure for Scenery Hire and the services they provide.

We’re now working on a number of interactive promotions to increase the number of fans, and to interact with their existing fans even further.
