NinetyFive Creative’s Managing Director Matt Lloyd has signed up to participate in a 150 mile charity cycle ride which follows the River Thames from Cirencester to London.
The ride is in support of the Child Brain Injury Trust, a leading voluntary sector organisation providing non-medical services to families affected by childhood acquired brain injuries across the UK.
The ‘Follow the Thames’ challenge has been organised by our friends at Prospect Accounting and will involve a team of amateur cyclists. The team will set off on May 17th 2013 at a starting point which is 20 miles from the source of the Thames. Over the course of the trip they will cross the river at various points and reach the capital after two days of riding.
Matt would like to extend his thanks to the Green Bike Company for the loan of a quality racing bike – he’ll definitely need it! As this date comes ever closer, we’ll keep you updated on our website, and also on our Facebook and Twitter page.
The 150 mile route is as follows:

It’s been a busy week for the NinetyFive Creative team, as earlier this week (Tuesday the 27th of November) we hosted our first ever series of marketing workshops.
Developed to respond to the marketing challenges that local businesses have told us they’re facing, the first workshop covered strategic marketing planning, and the second one focused on the benefits of using social media from a business perspective.

We’d like to thank everyone who took the time out of their busy schedule to attend, Rick and Sue Johns and the team at Kingsway English Centre for providing such a fantastic venue, and finally our team of fantastic speakers which included:
Simon Williams - www.businesscoachingwestmidlands.co.uk / LinkedIn profile
Gary Morris - www.garymorris.2plan.com / LinkedIn Profile
Julia Williams - www.premierplaces.co.uk / LinkedIn profile
Paul Alekna - www.e-responserecruitment.co.uk / LinkedIn profile
As we had such a great response to the workshops, we hope to run more in the near future. To register your interest, please email Alexandra Burnett and watch this space for more details.

We’re not the only ones who enjoyed the event ! Here’s some of the feedback we received:
“Great Workshop. Very well organised, engaging speakers and overall very useful and relevant.”
Stacey Redman – SME Solicitors.
“Great info . Really friendly and nice atmosphere. Definitely given me food for thought and feel more motivated about social media. Thank you very much for the invite.”
Sally Turner – Turner Construction
“You always think you know it all but today has shown me there’s always things to learn and things to be reminded of . Today has been great. I’ve written pages of notes and will tell the whole office what I’ve learnt and generally how creative and informed 95 creative are”
Natasha Duke – Kimal

This week Ben Barnes, our Creative Director, led an interactive ‘Marketing a New Business’ workshop at Dyson Perrins 6th Form.
Organised by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, the main aim of the event was to develop and enhance the skills of younger members of the rural community so that in the near future they can contribute more effectively to the local economy.
Ben’s “Marketing a New Business” session guided the students through the marketing planning process, encouraging them to create their very own marketing plan during the workshop.
NinetyFive Creative believes that business talent is out there regardless of age. We know for a fact that young students do want to learn and workshops similar to the one Ben led provide them with structured real life examples, practical advice, and most importantly the inspiration they need to turn their business ideas into reality.
Thanks to the Chamber of Commerce for inviting us to be part of the event!
Was great fun to hear Magic Whiteboard share about their personal experience of setting up a business with the young students. Thank you for getting involved !
Check out the photos from the day.

As well as managing accounts and all aspects of administration, Pearl will be focussing on improving business performance.
Alexandra (right) joins the team after recently completing a degree in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Worcester. She will support the marketing team in the development and delivery of various marketing activities, including social media campaigns for a range of clients.
We are very excited to have Pearl and Alexandra in our team and look forward to getting to know them better.

As we’ve just moved into our new home, we thought we’d take a little trip down memory lane and celebrate how far we’ve come since opening the doors to NinetyFive Creative.
November 2009
Matt and Ben set up a studio in Matt’s spare room…..and NinetyFive Creative is born!
February 2010
Space gets a bit tight and they move out just before Matt’s son is born to make room for the nursery!
They move into a small office on the top floor of a building in Foregate Street.

June 2010
Matt and Ben hire an admin assistant to take over the bookkeeping work so they can concentrate on building the business.
August 2010
Amy joins the team, prompting a move to a bigger office within the same building to accommodate everyone. Shortly after, Imi joins the team…closely followed by Nic.
April 2011
The office is too small for the growing team so we move to an even bigger office on the middle floor. At first we have plenty of room, but Matt B and Tia join the team, and once again lack of space becomes an issue!

August 2012
We move over the road to our new studio! This move is our biggest yet so the whole team get involved to make it happen.

Why not pop in and take a look at our new space? We are now at 31 Foregate Street, Worcester.
